This is a go-to Crock-Pot recipe in our house!  Simple but yummy!  That’s all I have to say!

slow-cooker-zesty-chicken-and-rice

Ingredients:

  • 6 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 large bell peppers, coursely chopped
  • 2 medium onions, chopped
  • 1 can (28 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup uncooked brown rice
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 package (about 1 ounce) taco seasoning
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp ground red pepper

Instructions:

Place all ingredients in the Crock Pot/Slow Cooker. Stir well to combine.  Cover; cook on low for 6 to 8 hours.
