I have a new love for dates. No, not a romantic engagement. I mean the fruit that can be pitted and eaten. They are fantastic and I have been making my shakes with them lately – like the recipe below. You can also make all kinds of other puddings and desserts with them, but i guess I had never really bought a tub of dates and ate them one by one. They’re very high in sugar but very tasty to snack on in moderation.
