Try this for a nice breakfast alternative to oatmeal for some change!
Chocolate Quinoa Porridge
1 scoop chocolate protein powder
1/2 cup quinoa
1 cup water
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 tbsp. pure maple syrup
1 tbsp. dried cranberries
1 tbsp. slivered almonds
1/2 cup sliced strawberries for garnish
Cook quinoa in water for about 10-15 minutes or until most of the liquid has absorbed. Stir in vanilla, maple syrup, & whey protein until dissolved. Add in cranberries & almonds. Serve with strawberries.
